Purpose
A strategic learning needs assessment identifies the critical skills required for successfully implementing the organization’s strategy. It defines current gaps and strengths in skill levels to determine the highest impact areas to invest training dollars.
Process
Identify critical roles or clusters of roles that will have the biggest impact on strategy attainment.
Use client-created competency models/skills frameworks/task models or rapidly prototype competency models/skills frameworks/task models using AI tools and our own substantial research and experience.
Conduct a gap analysis of strengths and skill gaps relative to requirements.
Validate gap analysis finds with key stakeholder groups using qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
Define a comprehensive analysis of learning requirements going forward.
